Raftarp i Snogeholms strövområde
Stugby | At the centre of Snogeholm recreation area, surrounded by meadows and sheer deciduous forest is the cottage Raftarp for 6-8 guests. There are numerous trails in the area and in Lake Snogeholmssjön you can go canoeing and fishing. The Skåneleden passes by.
There are two bedrooms in the cottage with 6 beds in total – one room with two single beds and one room with a double bed and a bunk bed. A toilet and shower are accessible to wheelchair users. In the living room there is a sofa bed for another two people. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, freezer, microwave, stove and oven and a dining area for 8 people. Outside are several benches and tables as well as a rooved barbecue area about 150 metres away. There is also a separate entrance with a sink.
There are plenty of trails in Snogeholm recreation area, both short and long, and the Skåneleden trail runs through the area. A shorter trail along Snogeholmssjön is accessible to wheelchair users and there is also a riding trail. The landscape is varied with sandy and open heathland, alder marsh, sheer deciduous forest and dark spruce forest. In total there are four cottages and two camp facilities to rent in the area.
The cottage can be rented by the day, for a weekend (Friday-Sunday) or a full week. It is not permitted to house more people than there are number of beds in the cottage.
You need to bring your own bed linen, towels, toilet paper and paper towels. Firewood is not included but can be bought on site. It is possible to prebook this with the recreation area office. You will need to clean the cottage yourself. Cleaning equipment is provided.
