The cottage Fiskestugan is situated 20 metres from Lake Snogeholmssjön and is perfect for smaller groups. There are 2 small bedrooms with 4 beds – at the centre of the recreation area Snogeholm. Just outside there are trails, barbecue areas and canoes to rent.
The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen (stove, oven, fridge freezer, microwave) and a large, newly renovated bathroom with a shower. One bedroom has two single beds, the other a bunk bed. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen (stove, oven, fridge freezer, microwave) and a large, newly renovated bathroom with a shower. One bedroom has two single beds, the other a bunk bed. The living room has a dining table for 4 people and a smaller seating area. Through the large window you have a view of Snogeholmssjön. There is garden furniture just outside and a barbecue area by the lakeshore.
A stone’s throw away from the cottage you can rent rowing boats and canoes. The Skåneleden trail and the trail Stora Sjöslingan passes by near the cottage and the area has several long and short trails. The landscape is varied with sandy and open heathland, alder marsh, sheer deciduous forest and dark spruce forest. In total, there are four cottages and two camp facilities to rent in the area.
The cottage can be rented by the day, for a weekend (Friday-Sunday) or a full week. It is not permitted to house more people than there are number of beds in the cottage. Check-in is normally at 15 pm, check-out is at 11 am. But feel free to contact the recreation area office in Snogeholm if you need to make other arrangements and we will try to find a solution (dependant on other bookings).
You need to bring your own bed linen, towels, toilet paper and paper towels. Firewood is not included but can be bought on site. It is possible to prebook this with the recreation area office. You will need to clean the cottage yourself. Cleaning equipment is provided.
